Élitis, a manufacturer of wallpapers and fabrics, is having particular fun with the thousand and one variations of textiles this season. The French brand is looping, weaving and intertwining the legacies of weaving by sculpting the fibres. The result? A combination of materials emerges on their graphic, colorful and mixed fabrics. The fabrics of the Expression, Horizon, Escale and Esprit collections juxtapose references – from the peoples of Burkina Faso to the leaders of the Bauhaus and even to Seventies icons – and blur the technical tracks to take on the appearance of being handmade.

And when the hands sculpt the material, the imagination has no limits: cleverly textured embroideries are decorated with colorblock compositions. These age-old weavings and sophisticated colors create a singular dialogue with the ancestral fibres of linen, wool, cotton or jute.
